Telco Cloud

Background:

A telecom operator with a traditional, proprietary core network, seeking to enable VoLTE/IMS/VoWiFi and support emerging technologies like 5G and IoT through a shift to a cloud-based environment.

Challenge:

Legacy infrastructure spread across multiple vendors, limited VoLTE/NFV capabilities, high upgrade costs, no clear decommissioning strategy, complex testing environments, and a lack of internal cloud migration expertise.

Results:

Successfully migrated to virtualised core network components, implemented an NFV-compliant architecture, reduced OPEX/CAPEX, decoupled hardware from software, fully integrated OSS/BSS systems, and decommissioned outdated infrastructure.
