We are looking for an Integration & Test Engineer to independently validate an automated backup solution across Lab and production environments. The engineer will develop and execute SIT/UAT testing, capture technical evidence, manage defects and support acceptance of the solution before production rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

Create SIT/UAT test cases from agreed requirements.
Verify backup generation across multiple platform components.
Verify automated backup scheduling and execution.
Verify backup transfers between source platforms, backup proxy and remote storage.
Validate SFTP/SSH connectivity and failure handling.
Validate backup retention and automated housekeeping.
Test insufficient-storage and retention-limit scenarios.
Verify transfer throttling and compression.
Validate logging and error handling.
Perform negative and failure scenario testing.
Capture test evidence and maintain requirements traceability.
Raise, track and retest defects.
Support Lab/POC acceptance.
Perform regression and acceptance testing during production rollout.
Produce final test and acceptance evidence for customer sign-off.

Essential Skills:

Solution Architect / Technical Lead – Infrastructure & Backup

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the implementation of an automated backup solution across Lab and production environments. The role will own technical design and architecture decisions while supporting the hands-on System Integration Engineer and coordinating technical dependencies with customer and platform SMEs.

Own and review the overall backup solution architecture.
Define integration between application platforms, backup proxy services and remote storage.
Review and update HLD and LLD documentation.
Define interfaces, data flows, dependencies and security requirements.
Provide technical oversight for integration with multiple telecom platform components.
Review backup automation and retention architecture.
Review network/firewall and secure-transfer requirements.
Support resolution of complex technical issues.
Ensure the Lab solution is suitable for subsequent production deployment.
Provide technical governance for progression from Lab/POC into Live.
Support SIT/UAT, technical acceptance and customer sign-off.
Support operational documentation and knowledge transfer.

Senior Linux & Systems Integration Engineer – Backup Automation

We are looking for a Senior Linux & Systems Integration Engineer to support the design, development, integration and deployment of an automated backup solution within a complex telecom infrastructure environment. The engineer will be the primary hands-on technical resource responsible for developing Linux-based backup automation, integrating multiple platform components with a Backup Proxy Service (BPS), securely transferring backups to remote storage and supporting deployment from Lab into production environments.

Build and configure a Linux-based Backup Proxy Service (BPS).
Develop Bash/Python scripts and cron/systemd-based automation.
Automate backup generation, collection and export from multiple platform components.
Implement secure SFTP/SCP-based backup transfers.
Configure and troubleshoot SSH and passwordless authentication.
Implement backup retention, housekeeping and automated cleanup.
Develop storage-capacity and backup-size checking/handshake mechanisms.
Configure LVM/XFS partitions, mount points and directory structures.
Implement logging, error handling and log rotation.
Implement transfer throttling, compression and bandwidth verification.
Troubleshoot Linux, networking, storage and application integration issues.
Support SIT/UAT and production deployment across Lab and Live environments.
Produce technical and operational documentation.
Support handover and knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Essential Skills:

Strong RHEL/Ubuntu Linux administration.
